HOLLAND - International Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:
Lead Beta B.V.’s year-over-year results by leading our team in a combined effort to increase sales, create tight customer relationships, provide outstanding service, and effectively manage the operations and staff.

Tasks:

  • Develop, maintain, and grow sales for the region as measured by revenues and profitability
  • Use solid leadership skills to lead team efforts that ultimately, exceed the expectations of our customers
  • Use strong communication skills to coordinate efforts both locally and with Houston, Texas operations
  • Generate appropriate reporting documents to communicate efforts across team and with USA office
  • Periodically travel across the region to call on current accounts and develop new customers
  • Monitors market and competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Recruit other talented persons to join the Beta team when appropriate positions are needed
  • Lead resolution of customer claims by overseeing the root cause investigation, potential solutions, resolution, and customer retention.
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating plan for the region including the sales and profitability numbers

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven track records in sales of pipeline, downstream products services and project management
  • Knowledge and network in our industry in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
  • Degreed engineer or equivalent in work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial standards, specifications and QA/QC process
  • Ability to lead a complete team including Inside Sales and Financial Administration
  • Self-confidence, willing to travel, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • Language: Dutch, English. French, Arabic, is a plus
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office software
