Mark Claffey earned a BS in Accounting from Bentley University in 1979 and a Masters in Business Administration from Anna Maria College in 1987.

Mr. Claffey’s career covers 31 years in various accounting, financial and operational roles in manufacturing, hardware/software, and distribution companies. He has been Chief Financial Officer of Beta International since April 2010. Prior to joining Beta, he spent 9 years at CIRCOR International, a publicly traded provider of fluid control products where he was the Director of Finance. He also held roles as General Manager for the Couplers Product business and led financial activities for capacity expansion in China as well as spearheading efforts on many successful acquisitions.

Mr. Claffey spent 4 years as a Division Controller for Osram Sylvania, a leading US based lighting manufacturer as well as key financial roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, Kronos and Simplex.
